Walk past the Twin Center on a Saturday night and count the G-Wagens. We'll wait. There's a reason the AMG G63 has become the de-facto status symbol of Morocco's luxury automotive scene — and it's not the one most people assume.
The residual story nobody else tells you
After tracking residuals on every G63 we've sold since 2022, the picture is consistent: low single-digit annual depreciation across model years, with newer cars holding value even tighter than older ones.
For context: a comparable Range Rover SVAutobiography typically loses roughly twice that, year over year. That's the math nobody on Instagram explains. Reach out if you'd like our latest valuation on a specific year and spec.

G63
The W463A generation (2018–present)
This is the G that re-invented the model. Independent front suspension, the M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8, and an interior that finally caught up to the price tag. If you're shopping today, this is the only generation we recommend.
What to actually inspect
- Differential locks — exercise all three. They seize when nobody uses them.
- Air suspension on Stronger Than Time editions — full check, no shortcuts.
- Front bumper paint — Casablanca speed bumps eat them alive.
- Service history — the M177 needs B-service religion at 20,000 km.
Two great 2019 examples, side by side
We currently have two W463A G63s from 2019 — same model year, very different cars. One is a daily-driven, low-key spec. The other has the AMG Night Package and a meticulously preserved interior.

If you're using the car for daily commuting, the higher-mileage example is the smarter buy. If you're collecting, the AMG Night Package version is the one to lock down.
The new car premium — is it worth it?
The 2024 model brings updated MBUX, redesigned interior trim, and the option for AMG-exclusive paint codes. For a daily driver, the 2021–2022 stock is the sweet spot. For ego, nothing replaces a brand-new one.
Final word
The G63 isn't the most thrilling SUV on the market. It isn't the most refined. But it is, year after year, the one our clients re-buy. There's something to that — and once you've owned one, you understand it instantly.
