The Portofino M is, quietly, the most rational Ferrari you can buy. Not the most exciting, not the most collectable — but the one our clients keep on the driveway, not on a trickle charger. After hosting this 2022 Rosso Corsa example, here's our honest read on the car.

What the "M" really changed

The Portofino M took an already-soft GT and gave it teeth. The 3.9L twin-turbo V8 now makes 612 hp, the gearbox jumps to an 8-speed dual-clutch lifted from the SF90, and the new five-position Manettino finally includes a proper Race mode. It still folds its roof in 14 seconds. It just stops apologising for being a Ferrari while doing it.
